The amount of squirrels I've been seeing out there lately is nuts.

Everything is fatter in the US. I think the only skinny squirrels I have ever seen are the juveniles, but then again I've never really been far enough from some sort of civilization to see how they are in a truly wild environment.
These are living in a wooded area with some houses and farmland nearby, so I'm sure there's never a shortage of things to eat.

The squirrels in my area are called "fox squirrels", and these are the only kind I ever really see--although a week or so ago, I did see a chipmunk and managed to get a few not-so-great photos of it.
Maybe I should post this too even though it's not the best photo and it's a week or so old now.
While my phone's camera is great at 1x zoom, trying to zoom in especially on things hiding up in the trees doesn't usually give great results. I noticed that my photo has an interesting sorta "smudgy" effect to it as a result of all the artifacts, maybe I should toy around with running photos through filters sometime...
