Okay.
Now that the "introductory arc" to my Hanna-Barbera verse is over, it's time to talk about the elephant in the room:
What series will I take in this multiverse?
I mean, Hanna-Barbera had more than 150 series!
I can't (and don't want to) take them all.
So I did a sorting.
Any series that went against the following rules was immediately out:
- No Tom and Jerry. I don't consider them a HB series, because Bill and Joe made them at MGM.
- No Cartoon Network "interim" series. I consider them CN series, not HB series. So no Powerpuff Girls, no Dexter's Lab, etc... (It's not a dig, I enjoyed these series when I was a kid!)
- Animated series only.
-- Two exceptions: the Banana Splits and the Skatebirds. They have the cartoon spirit.
- Original properties only (obvious reasons), so no Smurfs, no Superfriends, etc...
-- Again, there can be exceptions if the series' resemblance to what it adapts is In Name Only (Moby Dick, for instance).
- No crossover series. I mean, this verse's already a massive crossover, it'd ruin the continuity of it.
- Only ONE universe by franchise. Don't expect a dozen of Scooby-Doo universes or a dozen Flintstones universes.
- Finally, there's a non-HB universe I put here because it'd fit perfectly (see the Transplant System folder): Road Rovers.
This said, let's separate what's left in three tiers (they will be infrequently updated, according to the progress of the story):
