Winter looks older here than she ought to. Maybe like her teens or something. However this did come from my first concept sketch of her, so whatever.
Two reasons I went ahead and inked and colored this. I wanted to work more with digital to get myself back into the swing of it, and because I wanted to see if these colors suited what I was going for. I'm relatively satisfied, but still not sure if I should go with Fury's emerald green eyes or Happenstance's stormy blue-gray eyes (shown)...
Winter is every bit a mutt. She's a mix of wolf, raccoon, cat, and squirrel. Some of those species aren't noticeable in what I've done here, but will be clearer in the full body drawing I've done and will finish at a later time... Dammit, she's cute.

How about combining the two depending on moods? Use one color as the main and the other as highlights? There was a guy I worked with here whose eyes would change colors from hazel, green, and ice blue. Heh, even while just talking to him for a few minutes his eyes would change to where they were multicolored. =+o
