Dessine's Royal AU got lots of interesting worldbuilding around the fae knights that grow from fruits in the magic wild.
Sho here being a licensed idiot, one does NOT just walk right up to a wild knight you meet in the forest. Even tamed they can be quite aggressive and unpredictable. Sho just lucked out this one decides it does in fact enjoy some chin scritchies!
