His body is immaterial, so it is difficult to make physical contact. He is able to condense energy and simulate something similar to touch (touching it feels like something cold, viscous and vibrating). But any touch of something material quickly destroys its shell. Prolonged contact can kill him.

He dreams of meeting someone whose fate he is not able to foresee. But this is only possible if the creature is born in a world that has never seen starlight.
