that bat's based on a set of doodles i dun did of kid versions of several dc characters, inspired by a justice league ep.
also, the king isn't so much leon as some regal ancestor. basically a personification of the flag of the Kingdom of León. probably the genesis of the purple fur mutation. still needs moar story.
