While exploring sewer tunnels, drone set to autopilot made a contact with strange looking hybrid of... many species. After alerting the command of the new discovery it attemted to communicate with hybrid. When that haven't worked out there was assumption that it may actually be just another mindless monster. Next step was to test how intelligent it was. With all sensors focused on behaviour analysis there was nothing to detect danger from above.
The trap has been sprung...
After connection loss with an adrone it has been revealed that because of software error that unit went to restricted area from which no adrone has ever returned. No one suspected that design of those anthropomorfic exploraation machines is heavely based on the design of cyborg who created those hybrids and from whom they escaped.
