It's really interesting just how effectively Indrys' veil conveys social maturity; she definitely comes off as more youthful with just her ponytail. It was a very good choice to implement as part of the twins' culture! Both versions of this artwork are beautiful, of course! <3
I can't help but notice this must be when they were a few years younger since Vygo's beard is not fully grown in, I have to imagine Indrys made many a joke at his expense until it filled out properly.
It is also adorable how here the picture convey a very friendship/traditional sibling relationship between the two, but the one with the Veil has a more mature spousal feeling to it which I can't imagine is by accident. As always they are cute and Indrys is best dragon girl

Yesss, they are in their late teens here, still young and inexperienced! ^^ Just got through the rite of passage into adulthood, so Vygo has his honor belt and Indrys has her veil, symbols of adulthood/ being effective members of the clan. I've been drawing them as teens a lot recently so I'm finding ways of making her look younger with the veil too.
And yes, two sides of the same coin, their relationship! <3
