So after last week's drawing using Blender to create a base mock-up before the drawing I decided that it had been a long time since I did a blender render as my weekly drawing. I have done some work in blender since then, but nothing as a quick-draw image. So went through everything i had done and decided to do a quick-render of my Darkest Light drawing from last year and gave myself a max time of 10 hours to complete it.


As for the results, I kind of like how the old drawing looked better. Now if I spent a lot more time and did a full render from the ground up I could do better, but time constraints made it kind of rushed, which is why the arms are so huge as this was render, as opposed to making the topology from the ground up. Ah well, practice is practice and about 9.75 hours total.
