A slight update on this design https://www.furaffinity.net/view/45997456/
The Sentinel is an individual hailing from an alternate Earth within a distinct universe where time operates differently. In this cosmos, the concept of entropy is nonexistent, and the second law of thermodynamics holds no sway. Rather than disintegrating and falling into chaos, all elements tend towards order and complexity over time. The human beings of this realm are vastly unlike those with whom we are familiar. They are immortal, highly intricate super-beings endowed with boundless energy and adaptability, exploring and expanding their universe at an inconceivable pace. For these nearly amoral, logic-driven entities, the universe is a sprawling playground, theirs to manipulate as they see fit.
However, one of these super-beings, an esteemed engineer and architect, is suddenly and unintentionally transported to the Earth of the Enforcers, where new laws of reality constrain him. Suddenly, the super-being begins to age. Although still formidable, it will take some time for him to catch up to his age. Perhaps centuries. In that span, he endeavors to make a difference in this unfamiliar world. However, the different laws of physics prohibit him from sharing his knowledge and technology, causing his attempts to often fail spectacularly. Consequently, he chooses to pursue an alternative strategy, dedicating himself to safeguarding the innocent. Indeed, why should the blameless endure needless suffering and death? Where's the logic in that?

An interesting take on the apex superbeing trope. Rather than coming to another world where they are a god, they find themselves 'nerfed' by their new surroundings.
This guy will probably have a hobby in exploring and categorizing the strange natural laws that govern our universe.

I appreciate you making it so the logical, amoral super-being doesn't default to being a sociopath. He instead acts to protect and aid others, because it's only logical. If they don't deserve death or suffering, yet cannot protect themselves from it (or at least, their ability to do so is limited), then it's only logical that a being who can protect them step up to do so. Why leave them to suffer? Especially if they've done nothing to offend him.
Besides, those who choose chaos and violence tend to die sooner. There's no guarantee this new world wouldn't find a way to kill or banish him if he made himself a menace. Better not to rock the boat except when absolutely necessary, such as opposing those proposing laws and policies that make things worse for people in the long run, or being willing to denounce tyrants that others would rather curry favor with.
Wish more people understood that "logical" or "pragmatic" doesn't mean you end up defaulting to evil. Sometimes, it just means you're willing to do unpleasant or unpopular things for the greater good, and not just for some sick thrill of doing something taboo.
