I made up lore for the chubbo-synths.

I give them deep inset handlebars for securing cargo and a quadrupedal stance to bear heavier weight (also because it's cute). i image them as big and powerful rough laborers who are also intellectually overqualified for the heavy lifting, carrying, and physical support their jobs on terrestrial infrastructure entails. Management does not want to ever admit making mistakes, so this misdelegation is calcified into procedure: ELBUA-TTE are coerced into donating their spare processing power to the organization, and are connected to eachother and further computers by way of fiber optic ports on their bodies.
Imagine a system of subterranean caverns crisscrossed by gentle giants, supporting cave walls and hauling materials, sleepwalking and ignoring everything. Thinking.
