His full name is "Miyamoto Usagi." And as for TMNT, I think most of us saw him there before we found out he had his own comic book series.
He also appeared in a computer game, Samurai Warrior: The Battles of Usagi Yojimbo, but I found it pretty hard with the confusing one-button-for-everything controls.>.<;
