There is something about a baby that allows a man to lower his guard and bring down the walls he builds around his heart.
At least, that's how it feels for Vygo.
Vygo knows everything about Indrys, just as she knows everything about him, even the side he wishes he could hide from her: the side that fears their future and is doubtful about his decisions. If he could, he would always keep the image of the strong as the man of the family, and give Indrys the sense of security she deserves.
Vygo knows Vyrn can't understand what he says, and because of that, he can just pour his heart out and speak about all his fears, regrets, dreams, hopes.
What he doesn't notice, however, is Indrys quietly observing him as he shares this special moment with the newborn, her heart full of love.
