Ok, eventually I plan on updating the file so that there's a nice title that says "On20 Kornut Potrer Concept" at the top, but I can't do that until I can use my Mom's PC. Her MS paint program is vastly better than the one I have. So far all I can do is add my signiture and the date of completion.
Anyway.... Here is the type of locomotive that I intend to dominate my On2O loco fleet. The design is based on/inspired by the "Kornut" model Porter which was the smallest model offered by the H.K. Porter Co. The Kornut was meant for 18in gauge but it can easily translate well into On20. (20in gauge)
And to keep with the "Theme" I set with the On20 Shay Concept I drew "Lee Van Cleef" over there as a scale refference. Please keep in mind that this drawing is to look PROPORTIONAL and is NOT to scale.
I'm having an easier time deserning a color shceme for this loco, which I may carry over to the shay. I'm thinking of a black smoke box, smoke stack, and headlight. Dark green saddle tank and dark brown cab, addorned in gold lettering, paint, and trim. The end beams would also be dark brown. The wheels I'm still on the fence about, I know I want white "Tires", but I don't know if I wanto color the wheels black or a deep red. *shrugs*
Anyway, I hope you like it! PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS!!!

I, unfortunately, do have a set of real drawings of the Kornut Porter to go by. Only basic measurments. I felt the same what, through from what I do understand the rear driver was not under the cab, like on most porters.
However I don't thing there would be a problem with "wheelies", I think the weight of the boiler, smoke box, saddle, and pistons would be enough to keep her firmly on the rails. The fire box is long, but it's narrow, and seeing as the cab is made of wood I don't think it would weigh as much as a steel one.
