This Gundam Plastic Model here is the first kit I've fully painted since starting this hobby, I decided to name it ZS-23 Ares!

A few months ago I wanted to practise my painting skills on a fresh Gunpla kit and thought the HG Unicorn mode Gundam would make perfect practise, so I started with cutting out the pieces and sanded down the nubs, washed the parts and began painting with Tamiya spray paints. I then hand painted small details with Gundam markers and in the end, gave it a gloss topcoat.

I'm honestly really happy with how it turned out, even though I didn't do most of the painting right because this was my first time. Even whilst having a little bit of experience from past kits. But all in all, at least it wasn't from a lack of effort.
