My thought process on this one is actually somewhat pretty straight forward. I wanted to do something wholesome and adorable and realized I haven't drawn a character sleeping as a main drawing in over a year and a half (I've done sleeping a few times in my daily doodles). And then decided I wanted to draw a pokemon sleeping and try and make them blend into the environment and so chose this as my drawing.


And I actually rather like how it turned out. They don't really blend in too well but I'm sure if I was hand-painting the background like I did in my Winterland Walk drawing they would have been blended in perfectly. But I wasn't that interested in doing that detailed an environment. And in spite of how it looks it isn't lineless. All the lines are still there, I just changed their color to blend in more. Anyway, one hour for lines, three hours for color for a drawing time of just under 4 hours.
