Absolutely gorgeous and amazingly done as always!! I really love beautiful nature scenes like this so much, and Mariel seems to fit in so well here! I really just can’t get over how fantastic her design, patterns, and colors are, and I’m very glad to have had the opportunity to create her together with you! I love all of the little details here, like how she’s so tall that both of her feet end up dipping into the water below, the casual way she weaves the braid into her hair as she sits upon her rocky perch, the lovely contrast of the bright, ephemeral glow of the swamp and the darkness of the forest that lays beyond… As if the trees themselves are clustered together so tightly that not even the light of the moon can penetrate through the thick canopy. I can already imagine being able to hear and see all the sight and sounds of the swamp at night… The chattering of frogs, the droning buzz of the rapidly beating wings of dragonflies and maybe the odd fairy or two, the vague, shadowy shapes of fish and other aquatic wildlife as they flit about beneath the surface of the murky water, and the soft, melodic harmony of the kelpie witch’s lilting voice as her haunting siren song fills the woods… As always, your ability to make such amazing and richly detailed artworks that inspire such vivid imagery as if you could be there in the scene yourself is really something so wonderful! 🥰🥰
