Страница безупречна, в плане композиции и диалогов( лично для меня), но прочитав её, мне стало непосебе. Даже в какой-то мерк грустно. Я кажется слишком сильно ассоциировал Пенни с собой, именно на этой страничке. Но я не думаю что это плохо, ведь читатель должен ассоциировать себя с героем комикса)
Мне очень понравилась именно эта страничка.
Остальные тоже бесподобны, но я прониклась почему то именно той..)

эта катсцена во мне тоже отзывается сильно, хотя у меня идеальные отношения с матерью. здесь зрителя немного колбасит от того, что происходит лютый срач между родными людьми по сути на публике, и каждая из них по-своему права, но наедине они добры друг к другу и рассудительны, потому что они прежде всего семья и никого кроме друг друга у них нет. маленько деморализует х)

Я смотря эту сцену увидела то же самое, что описала ты, но слегка по другому) Для меня это сыграло немного более иным и личным, чем ты хотела, и я чуть больше задумалась о семейных взаимоотношениях. ) Я такой "загадачный"(нет) ))) Просто хотел сказать свои ощущения, но не выносить на публику)

Yeah, there are some rather disturbing disconnects here between Mother and Daughter. The usual disfunctional model is the two would behave like everything between them is moonlight and roses, Alex and Kyle would be invited to stay for ice cream, and then treated with a large, goopy side of mother-daughter love-festing. This would last until the guests left and then - ka-Boom!! - volcanics and forest fires erupting, flying dishes, tears, and assorted accusations hurled with increasng venom and volume. But, no, the theatrics are inside out, and somehow I feel that not only Mom NOT sorry our favorite cousins saw these theatrics, but rather the whole performance was a message to them. I know there's going to be revealtions awaiting ...

I sense that but it's hard to square with the public humiliation. The enraged overreaction and the "I-had-everything-just-the-way-I-want-it!" excuse suggest a range of disfunctions, of which alcohol consumption may (just "may") play a role.

Again, your artwork and facial deliniation is remarkable - the cousins' controlled saddness is so subtle but very moving.

This was a very touching and precious episode that you wonderfully portraied. A lot of mother/daughter relationships are pretty complicated as we know, but the purest love for the respective family member at the end always fixes every type of mess. Here the young and helpful farmers kindly helped Penny to tidy things up a bit in the house, but looks like this embarrassed enough momma Pam. And then a few glasses of beer didn't help to keep her calm and moderate in front of a slightly angry daughter. Poor Alex and Kyle were obliged to see all this. But i'm sure they will easily understand the meaning of Pam's reaction later. The sweetest part is indeed shown in the last panel where mom and daughter make peace and apologize with each other. Personally i love how this epic episode came out, priceless expressions as always sweetcake! 😉💕
