Brokul the Orc, after seeking the assistance of a Sorcerer acquaintance whose studies happen to be within the realm of knowing and understanding the many men and beasts of The World, begins his trek to find a suitable companion on his adventure...
I estimate there's 5 pages left of this Part 1 comic. After that, it'll be Part 2, and onto the wrestling.
And if the dialogue is too much and you need a breather, you can always look at the way Brokul's pecs swell when he crosses his arms, yeah?

Well gosh, many cheers for taking the time to share that buddy, really awesome to see your perspective on it. The dialogue in this comic stuff, as long and droning as it can be, is something of an effort to organize my own thoughts and understandings, and share them (hopefully without sounding like I'm proselytizing).
The characters have their own experiences, understandings, and beliefs that make up who they are. Brokul is a bit of a blank slate because he never had a rite of passage or opportunity to learn from his own kind or culture. He was injected into modern society, and had to learn things from scratch. Thankfully, a Ranger (Hrokr) found him, and was there to help answer questions and provide guidance in a very simple way, without trying to force Brokul to believe any one thing.
But now Brokul is beginning to learn more from his own experiences, and is crafting his own identity. But that doesn't mean he can't build his identity using the knowledge or experiences shared by others whom he knows. Hearing and learning from others is usually a good thing, and it'll be up to Brokul to analyze and determine what knowledge is good or bad, helpful or unhelpful.
And I hope that for both Brokul, and anyone else who reads all this dialogue, finds the advice more helpful than unhelpful. ♥

Which is a perfect example of the 'Fool's Journey' in terms of Character development as its natural for someone who knows nothing to take a leap of faith into discovering themselves through the interactions and lessons of others.
As someone who gushes about the Arcana (Total Persona nerd) I can see that he's trying to find his way and picking up pieces with every encounter. I look forward to seeing him discover himself in full ^^

Indeed—but hey, that's a tremendous insight and I appreciate the compliment! I've found it's often easier to deal with discomforts we're familiar with, than discomforts we've never experienced before, and as a result those discomforts become our new comfort zone. Sometimes it's about finding a way to leave that comfort zone, and experience the opportunities abroad that would never have been seen or available from the places we leave behind.
But it's true, our world has a lot more artificial complications that can make a journey more difficult...yet that doesn't mean there aren't ways to find your own path forward! Most importantly, keep being you—whoever that is, whoever you want to become, keep striving to find your own identity. Don't try to be perfect—instead, try to embrace being good.
...anywho! There's some unnecessary self-help positively blurb! Maybe it was just on my mind because it was extra dialogue I didn't fit in to all the Orcish rambling. Either way, you got this buddy. ♥
