*My fat dopey saber-fanged wolf self seems unaware as I bend over dramatically to pick up the mushroom, tail raised and butt shaking a bit...*
Just don't forget the old saying, "the cake is a lie". While that butt is real, so is the danger posed by the creature it is attached to. As Admiral Akbar once said, "IT'S A TRAP!"
I also kinda forgot "vore" is a thing and there are creatures that would willingly allow themselves to be eaten for some reason. Not sure whether or not that makes hunting irrelevant as one could just sit on the side of the road and wait for some suicidal creature to wander up and ask to be eaten, or if eating said creatures is a terrible idea as they may be carrying toxoplasmosis or similar mind-altering parasites that move up the food chain by getting their current host eaten by a larger potential host.
