I am so so lucky she didn’t turn and run for the nearest priest for some kind of baby curse exorcism. I wouldn’t have blamed her. She was accepting of so many of the…less desirable traits of mine that I feared this might be a step too far. I mean, it’s one thing to have to explain the diaper pail in the bathroom to visitors, quite another to have to deal with spontaneous random babyhood yourself.

But if nothing else, Zel is a trooper, and the life we shared together was worthy of putting up with a few more snags and daggles. She loves using an ‘incident’ as a freeing, temporary mini vacation from adult properness and absolutely adores it when our ‘incidents’ sync up.

Even if she can be a little butt sometimes.
