I should probably find a non-headstrong way to make a smooth scroll, instead of guessing how many nudges per frames it'll take to neatly loop something in exactly 20 frames.

Divide the width of the object in pixels by the number of frames, that's how many pixels you want to move the scrolling object by each frame.
