It's the eyes. Not that exactly seem mean or scary, just that they're not cartoony, kids feel "hey, cartoony animals are always nice!" so it's easier :P

Heh! This is what I appreciate about fursuiting. Even though the hugs may be free, they can also become priceless treasures when things go the right way. (By golly, it looks like Whiskey is actually smiling a little bigger than usual.)
