This is my favorite image from my warriors series so far. This took me longer than I'd anticipated. First and foremost I'm happy about how the wolf's face came out. This is the first time I'm genuinely happy about how I've drawn a wolf face. the knots on the hems of his tunic were a real bother, but I'm glad I did them. It would have been too plain otherwise. I'm also thinking about leaving this one as is, because quite honestly the background would be rather dull, and I don't want to risk screwing up my linework when I go to ink it. So this one is going to stay in pencil, as is.
Shout out to Qzurr for once again helping me out with the clothes. I mean, who better to ask right XD ? I took a few liberties since, quite honestly, anthro wolf vikings have never existed and neither has armor, shields, or weapons that was anthro-oriented. I've fallen in love with this character and I've decided to expand this piece later on, using big paper so I can go into much more detail. Maybe posing on his ship on his way to a raid or something else dynamic.
Anyway, I worked for a long time on this one and I'm extremely proud of it. Hope you all like it!
