Wiggling, basking, she savored the soft mud, until a stray gust pushed her hat off.
"Eh, that's annoying, I'll..."
But then she looked down at her arms—quite buried in the soft mud. And her shirt! Her clothes were filthy! And... and she was quite a ways from solid, safe ground. The lovely relaxed haze that she had been in was gone, replaced by annoyance.
"Wha... what did ah do? Ugh, this is silly! This will take so long to clean up, and ah gotta get mah hat, and... ugh..."
