Seriously one of my fave cat breeds ever. So short and stubby, like me XD

She is so terribly short, too. XD Just a wonderful kitty, I'm so lucky to have her!

Thats so sad. Munchkins are actually pretty friggen expensive breeder wise since they are a "specialty" breed, can't believe they'd just let her sit there ;_;

Not many people around here have ever heard of Munchkins though, so I suppose they assumed she was just deformed or something...every time I take her out on a walk (she walks on a leash like a dog) or have her in to the grooming salon (she LOVES to be brushed and, of all things, LOVES being bathed!) at least one person goes out of their way to let me know there's "something wrong" with my cat's legs. e.e Most people are nice about it and ask if they are supposed to be short like that...but inevitably some jerk declares she just shouldn't exist because it is "weird."

And to be honest she's loving and sweet and remarkably outgoing, but not agressively affectionate...so I can kindof see why she languished in a shelter so long...hard to get to know the sweet little Munchkin when the other unwanted cats are yowling and clawing your leg, begging for attention. She has manners, she doesn't act like a psycho when wanting affection. :P

I do absolutely adore her though. :) I've had supprising luck with unwanted cats...three of my rescue kitties have been purebreds! My dear Shadow, a British Shorthair (who sadly passed last fall), my Persian kitty Yvaine (who has some issues...deformed tear ducts, very mild entropion, and scarring in her sinus cavities...she's lovely but a total mess, lol!), and now my Munchkin, Ember! :)

LOL, sorry, that may have gotten into the realm of tl;dr. XD I love to ramble about my cats.

I guess I just always go for the disadvantaged cats first so naturally I just love them.
I've had kitties with brain injuries, kitties with only three legs, kitties with broken backs, I get more out of knowing that I saved a cat that a lot of "normal" people wouldn't want.

And its cool, I could talk about cats all day XD
I am such a cat lady in training lol. jk, but seriously though, I'm lucky, my mother works at a pet shelter, so I can go in and volunteer to pet kitties all day whenever I please :D
