This was the result of a pretty simple prompt, a pose, a few outfit choices, and a chair, and what I got back was SO MUCH CUTER than I expected ;_;

The idea was to have Penelope resting in a chair in a slightly oversized but very comfy hoodie, as if she was waiting to be called for on set for the next round of photographs, and just ended up nodding off while she waited ;_;

LOOK AT HER! Myakishhs' latest depictions of Penelope have been my favorite, she always looks so soft! Look at how her feet don't even touch the floor!! The velcro shoes were a surprise to me, I didn't even mention what kind of footwear she'd have on but...they know me well by now, it must have been an easy choice >.>;

I've always been a fan of how they draw clothing, they have a very strong grasp on how fabric works and moves, and combined with their ultra-cozy style it just creates the most comfortable scenes every time! The little bunny on the hoodie is Wish Me Mell, someone I've been very fond of getting drawn lately. I sent a bunch of references for her with no real direction, so I'm happy she showed up, and in such a cute way herself ^.^

It's funny, I know Mondays are usually notorious for being days that drag on way too long, but I find myself losing steam towards the end of the week, not the beginning. Either way I thought it'd make for an adorable scene and I'm glad I went to them for it!

I always imagined Penelope to be an early to bed early to rise kind of person, so her falling asleep on set is pretty uncharacteristic of her, but hey sometimes things don't go according to plan! Maybe it was the rest of the set that was having issues and this is her just patiently waiting for her time to shine :3
