Originally a prompt I adapted back in October 2022 -- now a plot bunny that won't go away, and might likely be a November 2023 Nanowrimo.
Here, a human has the misfortune of being cursed by a dying fox, to be transformed into that fox themselves. Except ... what if they weren't the intended target of the curse? Oops?
If you can't go back, then by definition you can only go forwards...
I don't have many details pinned down yet, but I have dropped some hints here and there to speculate by.

Don't exactly hold your breath waiting ... for the most part I don't share what actually gets written for a Nanowrimo. A few excerpts here and there maybe but usually that's all anyone else ever sees.
On a broader note, have I mentioned how often I actually hate TF sequences?
