ALRIGHT time to explain my design. :B
Green- I changed it to a more sickly, yellowish green rather than the healthy jade/emerald green, because he is supposed to be a demon of plague and sickness. In that same line of thought, he has glowy green body markings and his nails, a tail, and eyes produce toxic gas, because I think of radioactivity as well. He's got some sort of strange mohawk thing because when one is sickly, I envision them losing hair, so he has none on one side of his head. My guess is that it just falls to one side or the other.
The blindfold... I dunno, I just like blindfolds and it sort of represents how sickness doesn't care who you are or what you've done, it will take hold of you(aka, it is 'blind', like love, only worse >.>) Also it keeps him from seeping too much toxicity through his eyes.
Emaciated look goes along with the sickly/losing hair w/e, you know what I mean.
AND THOSE CLOTHES
He is supposed to be a demon knight. I thought they resembled like, soldier clothing or something. Military green and such. Also, I needed some sort of motif, hence the shape of the markings. It's sort of shaped like his tail.

I loooooove using symbolism and such. :B It's my very favorite thing to do, taking a certain word/conecpt and making an entire character out of it :> It was even better since he had to sort of fit into a 'group' without standing out too much either way. Thanks for making the contest! I hope you get a lot of super awesome designs <3
