In an apartment, yes they would each have their own individual dwellings. However, they live in a boarding house where they each have their own individual rooms but share the common areas of the house. It's not uncommon for a boarding house to provide meals in addition to lodging.
So the cheap ass bastard can’t even be bothered to handle food expenses as part of his business? No card or account for the landlord to use? See, this is everything wrong with the Rentee class, they just setup multi-tenant properties but they never take into account repairs, service contracts, lawn care, inspections, or taxes.
