Jake is an adventurer from a town of pokemon built around a rescue guild. He spent much of his time as an Eevee fawning over the retired adventurer Katelyn, a large ninetales who ran the local café, and eventually followed in her footsteps, forming a team of his own and eventually growing enough in experience to evolve into an espeon.
Sometimes a little naïve, Jake is a thoughtful sort who prefers to plan things through, although he can be easily flustered at times. His moveset generally supports his teammates, putting up barriers, tearing through opponents' defenses, and providing healing, and his role in the team is usually that of strategist and analyst. He aspires to live up to the example set by Katelyn and possibly even win her heart, but she's secretly already very proud of how far he's come!
