Monster Boy | Study Notes:
Mermen are the pretty boys of the sea, sometimes being mistaken for their female counterparts from behind due to their propensity for longer hair. More destructive individuals have been known to cause shipwrecks, though they aren't specifically looking to feed on humans like their Siren counterparts - their goal is to find treasure. Sometimes that treasure happens to be a mate!
Equally known to save humans from near-drowning situations, they enjoy taking humans as mates for genetic variation or just a change of pace. They often give these humans the ability to breathe underwater with their magic. More powerful mermen can give humans the ability to shift into a merperson as well, depending on their ultimate goals with the individual!
