Grey Furrls (otherwise known as Taffy or ghost Furrls) are a variation of Furrls that can only be accessed by Hugh and the way he does it is.... Unsettling. Step one of obtaining them is to Find a Furrl of any other color, step 2 is for him to EAT THEM ALIVE AND ROT AWAY THEIR FLESH! Okay not exactly but still he swallows them whole and chews on them into his mouth like taffy in which after a while if the Furrl hasn't managed to escape they will be converted into Grey Furrls no questions asked, no take backs, no consent required.

While in this state Ghost Furrls will pop out of Hugh's mouth and have the bottom half of their body sucked like taffy, allowing him to slowly regenerate stamina over time. But of course providing free Health insurance isn't they only way Taffy Furrls can help, they also have black claws that they can enlarge and extend through walls in order punch, scratch, and grab other Denizens with all while helping Hugh attack since he's too slow in combat and has to rely on his strong, long, powerful and zesty tounge to reach his foe. Speaking of which, Grey Furrls can extend 50% farther than his own tounge in order to Get to their foe but of course if they go too far, Ghost Furrls will completely detach from Hugh's mouth, leaving them vulnerable to certain Denizens (like Sachi or Borguro) to be converted into they're designated Furrl. Luckily Grey Furrls can attack on their own and can even possess Denizens like Monty or Rose in order to gain the upper hand.
