It’s such a shame that the ship didn’t get a chance to see New York City it was a very luxurious ship for the time

Yes, it would have been requisitioned by the military. I was saying in the long run, it wouldn't have been as famous as it is today if it hadn't struck the iceberg.

And I’m still hopin one day, the Titanic 2 will get to sail. I always wanted to go on either T2 or the Olympic. But I’m pretty the sure the Olympic was dismantled way before I was born

I'm afraid it was dismantled, along side the Mauritania after the Cunard and white star merger in the 30s. The closest you can get is to visit the white swan hotel where the furnishings from the first class dinning room and the grand staircase still exist.
