Disciples of Okami
A commission for
clow, and quite an adorable idea. We're both fans of the video game Okami, so much that we both incorporated parts of the wolf goddess's brush tail into our normal fursonas. So, Clow decided we should show off our fandom of the game. He also looks up to me as an artist, so he's shown as a "smaller" artist, looking up to his elder.

I friggin' love okami. Not because it's technically 'furry' but because it's a cool game. What's sad is that there isn't a sequel...yet. There were so many ideas they could've implemented too, but chose the brush and graphic style over realistic-ish demons and wolf with reflector beams.
Well according to the game lore, it's the moon and it suggests there was a civilization on the moon but it got destroyed by creatures like Orochi which is why the ark of yamato was built. So there's gotta be something there worthwhile, right? -shrugs- Though admittedly after defeated the baby seal inside the Yami orb I don't think they can come up with anything more humorous.
Such a great game, though I thought that at the end when you didn't get all the awesomeness of your 100-year younger self when using your brush powers was kinda lame I still loved Issun's speech to the world. Haven't played the new one involved Chibiterasu, debating about spending the money on that or saving it for Anime Boston.
I'm fan as well. I went literally crazy on it once I discovered it (Totally randomly, in a random choice of a game to buy), so I love it.
I also am playing the DS version in Japanese though I don't understand any fuck to it, but hell, it's Okami, it's worth the pain to me. Hehe~

Rather weird. It seems they didn't try to animate Issun that much, but I didn't get that far yet to be 100% sure.
Out of combat, instead of having a dashing, like into jars and chests, you attack, like in fight. It feels kinda weird. And attacking a chest doesn't work. You must press A to open it, and there's no special moves or animations from Chibiterasu. It just opens.
I know those are just little details, but everything that doesn't really remind me of the old gameplay.
I'm trying to get further to see, but I'm trapped somewhere, I'll just search a walkthrough or a guide that someone did to translate the text so I can understand. Anyway, I guess I'll give you news once I advance.
Oh, wait, just remembered. When painting, for skills and stuff, you have a time limit of 30 seconds this time. It barely changes anything, just wanted to point it out.
