5/10 no pun attempted in the name.
Brushing off the upload button for reasons, here is something that looking back I actually did put a heck of a lot of detail into, despite what meager purpose and ultimately forgotten status said purpose had. One of my earliest creative writing ventures (as I insist on vaguely terming them) with LtColonelWhipper involve the act of becoming snake-based Pokemon, and then becoming trains in a similar aesthetic. LtColonelWhipper previously drew the form he had envisioned for the venture, and to the anticipation of no one I now reveal what I envisioned and gave imagery to. (so yes this is technically post-TF/Transformation but there's enough disconnect in the final image I felt no need to tag it that way. Though you'll still see this if you're like me and you still try using the search bar to look for TF art. So hi TF fans regardless)
Honestly looking back on this for the first time in years I'm fairly impressed what 2019 me manage to drew impulsively for this affair. I put a lot of dots and lines in to make the shapes look a bit complex, and flat as it is the train's face looks as lifelike as the Pokemon artstyle can usually hint. I'm not even entirely relying on outlines for everything. It's almost as good as all those DeviantArt train artists who did pixel-art style side views of trains with all the loving flat detail they could muster. Though I probably eclipsed them (har har) by adding some nice shadow shading, even a bit of lighting shine as well (though maybe I could've gone further than that). So I guess overall this is pretty good for the era I made it, probably for the best I add it here finally.
also if you look closely you can see a cameo of two famous towers
