Every end of cycle (month. 40 days, each day is 25 hours), both the Pyre and the Moon vanish for the last day of the cycle and are replaced by the Idol, a reverse pyramid (doesnt matter where you are in the world, you still see a reverse pyramid) that apparently does nothing else but making the skies blue. This marks the end of the cycle and is how calendars are marked.
