This is a remake of the 2013 variant of the Schwarzlose 1898, "Surgeon", which was a lot less sharp than the 2015 variant "Laguna Presa". This one has been modified with a medical cosmetic on the grip, and a padded covering on the grip for flinch resistance (reference by Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War).

Re: The Schwarzlose 1898 was a German locked-breech, rotary-bolt semi-automatic sidearm that was designed in 1898, and was produced between 1898 and 1905. It was invented by Andreas Wilhelm Schwarzlose, a Prussian firearm designer. It saw service in the German and the Russian Empires. Firing range was from 100-600 meters, carried an 8-round detachable box magazine. Muzzle velocity ranged at approximately 400 m/s, and less than a thousand were produced at its time.

This version was modified and put into service by Nexus Industries, a multi-billion-dollar biotech corporation located in Argentina and in Switzerland under protection of the Mettaurian Federation. It is in service of the doctors and staff as a defense weapon.
