So, when I made the first soldering vise I noticed it had a little less articulation than I would have liked it to have, so I forged an entirely new clamping tool and then used a tenon forging jig to put a tenon on the end of it.
My goal was to allow it to pivot 360 degrees and be able to lock with a thumbscrew.
I don't have many wingnuts and most of them are not the proper size, so I forged one to a rough shape and filed it so it was tidy.
This one is much nicer than the other, but I can still use the first one I made https://www.furaffinity.net/view/52183356/ here.
They are interchangeable and can be taken off and put on as I wish.
