Here's a guy that needs some more limelight. I've drawn him with Kash in a few pics just outlined or roughly sketched. This is Kash's best friend (that's not a real life friend) and partner in crime, Dymitri, or just Dym.
Dym is a Royal-back Zebra Dragon. Kash calls him a Purple ZebZeb. He's a small sized dragon, standing at about 7 1/2 ft tall at the shoulders, close to 10 ft adding neck and head. His wingspan is puny and he can't fly, but the almost velveteen texture of the membrane makes for a good blanket on cold nights. His forepaws are simply his bones coming straight from his palm, with no fingers, while his back paws are built like a kangaroo's. He's rarely found on his toes and usually rests on his heels just like a kangaroo at rest.
Things to remember about Dym:
His freckles vary on his face
He only has a thumb claw on his wings
His tongue is ALWAYS striped, and ALWAYS ridiculously long when stretched out
When wet, Dym's mane make's him look like a drowned rat from head to chest, and the forelock usually covers both eyes, making it hard for him to see.
He's rather good at swimming, but not very fast. He uses his sturdy tail (which is NOT fur/hair btw, it's an actual fin) to steer and his wings to push him forward. His legs are normally tucked in close to his body.
There is NO white to his eye, it's pale yellow and his eyes are forest green.
Dym is a goofy and lovable guy to be around, and usually is the one that takes the blame for all the Kash gets into. He takes this all in great stride. Dym doesn't have a defined elemental power. He can use flame just like any dragon but his other powers are open to suggestion and interpretation.
He frequently gets barbecued by Kash's lightning, even if by accident.
