Needed to draw my AU-Striker in order to work through my complicated feelings about the latest episode.

I don't know if anyone feels like they did Striker dirty, but I certainly do. New voice actor did fine, I have nothing against the voice change, i'm just upset that it feels like Striker as a CHARACTER was kinda made into a parody of himself. What was a serious and intimidating villain before was turned into a joke with an unneeded theme song sung by ACTUAL possum-sized imps, and a COMPLETELY fucking self-gratifying dick joke of a statue. Chaz was a walking dick joke and I loved him for that but his episode still held a lot more serious emotional shit in it then this episode. I thought this episode would make me worried, I thought i'd be deeply concerned about Stolas and his position and afraid of Striker and what he could do with how scary he had been in his first debut, but eh. there was no real fear here due to the constant shifting of tones :/. it was a fun episode for what it's worth but overall as a Striker enjoyer I was crushed by how it was handled. a character can be a selfish prick without a fucking statue or a stupid theme-song like what actually was the point of all that. the amount of time wasted on a song-number could have been used in a much better way for an episode about Stolas literally almost being killed. the inkling of possible history Striker has with royalty and demons of higher status could be very interesting to explore but I doubt it'll be utilized or explored which also sucks fft.
Alas, you win some you lose some I guess.

Cowboy is def my jam so been all over this fellow too!! Love it!
Def agree with the take on how they did em in the episode.. I was head over heels for Striker in the first episode.. just downright stone cold and menacing.. but he sure got reduced in terms of seriousness to jokester.. I can still love em but I definite dislike the tone change
