A Daniël's Office drawing. I showed Daniël a video of about 15 minutes long, playing a super-catchy laid-back Pokémon song coming from the Diamond and Pearl games, and suddenly I got an idea of what I should draw. Daniël gave me a piece of paper and some pencils, and I started working on this picture. He complimented me on my ability to draw depth so accurately, despite not being able to see depth in the real world because of my preferred active eye constantly switching (however weird or unsettling that may sound, it's not harmful at all) from the left one to the right. I am very proud of what I've drawn so far, and the extended theme I played on YouTube in the background definitely helped inspiring me to draw a common setting in a not-so-common state.

This is one of the few Remake pictures I have done, since the drawing looks nice enough but lacks any color. So that's why I wanted to reinvent some things in the picture and make it full-color.

I drew a big room that was turned into a lounge room, complete with a bar and several couches. However, the chairs and couches are all partially torn open, and one of the lights hanging from the wall -- the left of the two in-between the exit and the bar, to be precise -- is constantly flashing on and off in an arrhythmical pattern, due to a lack of electricity in some areas of the underlying power network. There's a big glass table in the center, surrounded by various chairs and sofas, but one chair is even more beat up than the other. A big lamp, which is still in a surprisingly good state, is hanging from the ceiling, right above the low glass table and the various chairs. There's also a bar that was built in the opposite corner of the room, complete with a matching ceiling to go with it. This used to be a spot where all the various wine glasses were being sorted when they weren't in use, but a part of its roof has collapsed, resulting in the inside of the left side of the bar becoming visible. Next to the bar rests a lonely slot machine that was purchased by the supposed owner after he visited a casino, and developed an unhealthy addiction to gambling. The machine is still intact, but unfortunately it no longer works. Finally, there's a single painting hanging from the wall next to the exit of the room. It depicts a kid in a park on a late afternoon, underneath a pink sky filled with clouds, looking down at what appears to be some kind of gigantic apple. This strange piece of art only adds to the mystery of this once cozy place.
