"Food Justice" (Illustration Contest Entry)
Today I'm excited to share my latest piece, created for Food Empowerment Project's first ever Youth Contest, with a theme focusing on food justice, workers rights, and veganism. Bristol Board, Goache, and Watercolor Pencils. 11 in. X 14 in. Approx. 10 hours.
"Please explain how your piece connects to food justice, workers rights, and veganism."
This illustration features a scientific fox as a representative of those future "carnivores" who may never wish to fully give up meat (for whatever reason, pleasure or necessity), yet don't want to hurt others or the planet in the process. The pig was chosen to represent the farmer's market stand, which features plenty of "veganic" (a combination of vegan and organic) produce which can be displayed with pride, knowing they themselves cultivated and grew these crops - naturally representing those who choose to be herbivorous in the future, once an ideal cruelty-free world is accessible to all.

My commissions are always OPEN with prices under my profile tab, notes are open for free quotes. By the way, my mailed coms include extra goodies from my business partners (related to animals!) Released EXCLUSIVELY for my patrons, "FeP "Food Justice" Contest Entry: Process!" was released on my Patreon - be sure to join for EXCLUSIVE monthly perks! Don't forget to also check out the YCHs and adoptables available for sale in my gallery; every shiny donation gets a sketch as well, we really could use the help (this is my only income)
Favorites, watches, and comments below are welcomed - thanks so much for viewing my work! Be sure to stay tuned for future projects, I'm excited to share that I have quite a few other upcoming ideas in mind! ^.=.^

Unfortunately, humane and environmentally friendly meat is a myth. There is no humane way to kill someone who doesn't wish to die, and the ways animals are legally killed on farms (whether bolt gun, stun prongs, Co2 gas chambers, the Halal/Shechita method, etc.) we wouldn't want to euthanize a subject who did want to die. I recommend checking out HumaneFacts.org, along with this article exposing the animal agriculture industry's environmental lies. I urge you to stop falling for these fallacies, which we've all unfortunately been lied to for far too long, and try vegan. You can get started with this free vegan guide at GoVeganWorld.com. True animal lovers don't eat animals, or view their bodies as usable commodities.
