Question, did you first do the line art on a graphic editing program, print the line art, color it with color pencils and then Scan it?

cus I know that line art can't be smooth enough for traditional means..

unless.. u did every bit of line art and coloring on paper, scaned it, and then traced over the hand drawn outline with the image editor?

Your second guess is correct. I always hated the way my ink lines looked after I scanned. In fact I've been displeased how most of my color pencil art looks after scanning. I think it's mostly because I have a shitty old scanner. But partly because my own lack of understanding of scanner settings and such. If you were to hold the original in your hand, the ink lines are nice and solid.
