Gotta say I'm not entirely sure how best to do shinx ears in my style. Pretty sure what I did here is not the answer. But it's like the others look well enough. I think it's mostly that shinx ears are kind of goofy in that they are not positioned like normal ears but just kind of placed on the side and have a special shape. I can make them look like normal ears, or I can keep that particular shape. I just gotta figure out how best to adapt ears a bit to look decent in my style and to do that should probably figure out how much I can nudge that diamond shape.
Anyway, new chapter. Probably nothing too severe going to happen in this chapter. We have the group assembled but I still don't really have any real plot going in mind until we encounter the rival team. Might throw them in here, might not. At the very least for a particular interaction in mind I don't want Claire to meet her counterpart until they've learned how to actually use their pokemon abilities. So that should be done sometime this chapter I suppose.
Also first Willpower fail so we'll see a bit of a transformation, but each step is only 5% so it's not like it's going to be a massive one and will take a few pages to come in anyway.
Rolls: Willpower (Need 3 or higher): Duncan- 1 (Fail), Carlos- 6, Kong/Rebecca- 15, Malcolm- 18, Claire- 19.
Upcoming Rolls: None

It has nothing to do with the games. It's more or less a completely original idea that has no real intentions and technically doesn't necessarily have to be pokemon, but it does make it easier to convey what's going on. Basically Usael is on an alternate reality that occasionally people from our world go there and they can return. Anyone that is there will slowly turn into a pokemon. There are means to return to human form but they can be expensive, so someone looking human generally means wealthy.
But when Thing happens (hasn't been revealed what yet, want it to be revealed when the characters learn it) 100 people are called. They are grouped into 16 teams of 6 and are denoted as Called by an Unown that shares the same letter as the first letter in their name. Eventually the teams will begin to undergo trials to see how which one is best suited to handling the Thing. After the selection, what the others do is up to them, they can return home, they can help or just go about their lives.
One of the main things about this story is I cannot really plan too far in advance, because I keep rolling dice to see how they fare at certain things. And except for if they're in a position where failure means death, I won't be giving any of the characters any plot armor, meaning Team 4 (the protagonist's team) might not be the team that ends up having to save the day.

Have you tried Cassette Beasts? It's fairly similar in that it's a Pokemon-esque Isekai with transformation. I think it might give you some inspiration.
