Gemma and Seren go on a hike in Dragonspire Mountains while carrying dragon spirits in their wombs. Here we see Gemma from Seren's point of view... and what a nice view it is.

"We're so far away from anything out here..." Seren muttered, stopping and bending forward. Her gravid belly hung low, the extra weight of it on her body already causing her fatigue.

"I know, isn't it great?" Gemma said cheerfully, completely oblivious to her friend's discomfort. She looked out over the vastness of the mountain range before them, tracking the trail that they were on for miles out. A pleasant breeze blew through, blowing the skirt that still managed to fit her with her expanded size. She patted her round, pregnant middle and looked over her shoulder to the fellow swollen arceran. "The dragon spirits we're carrying will certainly give us the intuition we need to make it out here!"

Seren sighed, stretching her back and then slowly standing up straight. "Dragon spirits won't do us any good if we have to run away from a bear or a manticore or something..." She tugged on the collar around her neck. "These goddess seals are really cool and all... but they're already making it so much more difficult. Physically I mean." The brown furred Umbreon twisted her back and it cracked audibly, making Seren squeak in surprise. "Eeek! Ah... oh my..."

Gemma giggled. "Seren, you act like we aren't kick butt casters with a ton of training."

"We're apprentices..." Seren quietly corrected.

Gemma continued undeterred. "Even if we do find magical fauna, they'll be no match for the both of us!" She grinned proudly. "I actually think it's kind of exciting! Most of the mountain range north of Drake's Landing is uncharted territory. We're quite literally explorers!"

Seren almost had a retort but she didn't have much else to say in response that wasn't agreement or affirmation. "Y-Yeah... I guess this could be kind of fun. Now that we're here, we might as well enjoy it, right...?" Gemma's excitement was infectious as now her tail was beginning to swish back and forth.

Gemma came to Seren's side and embraced her. "Atagirl! This'll be something we'll remember for the rest of our lives!"

Seren's face reddened as she squished against Gemma's soft body, but she looked over to her friend and nodded. "Yeah..."
