I got this artwork for a tribute commission to my late beloved pet PanScolipede who passed away on Feb 24th, 2023 (exact 3 months ago) and this art was done by Ahnik. I'm allowed to repost this from him only. So, I'm giving him a credit. In case of you haven't heard of him: it's worth it to check him out for his amazing professional artist.

3 months later, somewhere in a quiet place I found to sit down for alone time and took out a pic from my vest. It was a pic of me and Truss having fun together when he was alive. It brought me smiles and feels sad at the same time knowing he is no longer with us in this world. Leaving me feeling void without him. It's just strange because I knew him for a well decade until his sudden passed away out of cold last Feb left me completely unprepared. It was deeply heartache and sorrowful that day. I may not be able to see his spirit or ghost form but I am sure that he is here for me and friends of his comforting saying "everything will be okay" with his hand on shoulder. Truss would wanted us to continue on in our lives without him and be happy which is ultimate important key after grief process. He may be gone but he will not to be forgotten for who he was as an amazing person and his contribution to our lives as well this fandom. I am deeply grateful for having him to be part of my life I will never forget and made me who I am today. Rest in peace Truss... rest well.

I couldn't believe he was gone, hence I wasn't able to stop crying over our loss. But it is a great tribute to our friend. Thank you very much for remembering our beloved Truss and my fellow eel, Colin

He died out of sudden during 1st chemo therapy because it became too much for his body to fight against (It was suspected by doctor due to high white blood cells and went to hospital in few days before he passed). Later to be confirmed leukemia via his older sister public announcement. If only there is early signs of cancer to catch (I remembered he complained about occurrence headaches and sick than usual which is we thought it related to his stressful hellscape job. He was on painkiller meds for months.) but it was silent awaiting to strikes.
It was devastating to me, close friends and families. It hurts honestly. It was truly hit hard in this community and left void. Altho, we hang together and stay strong to support each others which is all that matters. Life sucks and life is precious to cherish whenever we can. Will never know in the future.
