DatBlangry, Rante is a Burmecian (rat people species from amazing game Final Fantasy IX) in the same setting as Tara - you can see her upload here too!
Unlike Range, Rante is somewhere around 6" tall, quiet and fairly serious, though has been known to make dead pan comments that'd make you laugh.
He's a bounty hunter and occasional odd jobber, doing both for money and for the desire of helping others, especially from dangerous outlaws - war and loss in his past has made him determined to put a stop to what he sees as evil in any way he can - admittedly usually via his stomach.
He can be often seen in taverns, leaning back on a chair, a foot on the table, while sipping at an ale, watching others from under his hat. Despite his serious and cold demeanour, Rante is a romantic smooth operator when the mood takes him, which is quite often, and is known for being a passionate, caring lover to those that know him (which number in quite a few).
In combat, while he isn't too physically strong, Rante mostly relies on speed, dexterity and the momentum of twisting his body to attack opponents as well as throwing Things at enemies, (similar to Simon Belmont and his various throwing weapons). Also like the Belmonts, Rante has a whip for mid-short range fighting.
Very lithe and fast, his fighting movements and techniques are comparable to the Abyss Watchers style of movement and flips and sweeping, dramatic motions
The bell on his belt was gifted to him by Tara, which makes ambushing and sneaking more difficult, but he refuses to remove it for sentimental value; seeing it as a challenge to move quietly enough that it doesn't alert his current target
Both a pred and a prey (though pred leaning), Rante, as he is in the bedroom, is very sensual and thoughtful for other's needs, giving his partner the best time he can in as many ways as he can think of
Not specialised in magic, he only has a few pragmatic spells for basic healing of status conditions and low-tier health healing; he does however have spells such as Slow and Mini to take down targets as well as give some fun options for partners
Like all my OCs really, being digested by Rante isn't the end so much as a inconvenience; it's a painless process which feels like falling asleep very slowly, with one's consciousness remaining as they're pumped through their system, feeling the heat and pressure involved as well as vague feeling of being added to his hips, thighs and stomach. It's a temporary situation, both Rante and his prey can delay or speed up the prey's reformation, which pretty much amounts to just waking up in their bed, still feeling vaguely like they should be plushing out Rante's thighs.
