My entry for Jan's theme, Scifi/Fantasy for MonthlyArtChallenge on dA. Its a fun thing to do, and has helped already. And yes I am aware I'm late posting it on FA.

I honestly have never drawn a decent space background or one that wasn't cheesy and done with horrible photoshop brushes/burn and dodge. So I was nervous going into this but super happy with how the background came out!

But Nauro is looking out into the depths of space. It seems she may have snuck out after hours, or maybe this is the view from her room. Who knows maybe she is upset about something, or the things she's lost. Or maybe she is homesick and wants to be back on earth. Or maybe something happened and she can never go home.
