Year of the Rabbit - Blueberry
Hey look it is my rather late Year of the Rabbit picture, at least the first one I will do for this year. Not too terribly late though as it actually didn't begin until February 3rd. I did want to have this image done then but too many other things happened (like dealing with a major blizzard). Still I wanted to keep the art flowing and having more than a week without anything new up is a little long for me.
Any way, here is Blueberry celebrating the year with a silk robe that is probably a bit too short (and why she feels a little embarrassed here), but it makes people happy so she has it on (and nothing else).
Enjoy! And Comments Please!

Very sexy =3 Given New Year celebrations in China go on for as long as anyone pleases, I'm happy to hear you're doing more X3
I'd love to have Blueberry meet Shira at some point XD I'm sure they'd get on well, and it'd be an excuse to draw more lady-rabbits X3
It's similar to the kind of Kimono men wear in Japan during various festivals. I know because I have a photo somewhere of me and my old Japanese class wearing them XD

Good. My first, unworthy, thought was that it was a tiny little magic wand. What you want to have, if you ever do another picture with a sparkler in it, is little sparks. Apart from the glow there was a halo of bright lines that ended in little explosions of bright lines, as the peroxides (or whatever they were) burned up.
INTERESTING AND AMUSING COMMENT GOES HERE. :U
But seriously, Blueberry looks fucking adorable wearing a Kimono and with her hair done in the Japanese style like that. And her purple rims really match well with her green eyes, and the blue of her Kimono. Though a lady-friend of mine's favorite colors are purple and green, so I may be just a tad bit biased on that. ;3
I wish the Year of the Ram/Sheep would hurry up and get here (that's what I am in the Chinese Zodiac. Apparently they never got the memo that I'm a fukkin Tiger.... :< ), so I can see you draw a Sheep. I can totally point at that and say "OMG that's totally MEEEEEEE!" xP
Kidding aside, though, it would be awesome to see that.

That would be awesome to see in your style. I don't believe I've seen you draw a sheep before.
My only gripe about that is the sash, it's too closely matched- color wise- to the Kimono/robe. If it were me, I'd have picked a dark purple (to match her glasses) or a dark green (to match her eyes). I think a dark green would've worked perfect, but dark purple would've worked also. The thing is, there's too much blue in the pic already (the background is blue, the Kimono/robe is blue, and so are the flowers on it), so the sash would've been better done in a dark green/dark purple imo. Other than that it's a sweet pic. ^^
